Hair transplantation is a painless aesthetic operation performed to revitalize the hair or to regrow hair in areas where there is no hair, by taking the hair follicles from areas with dense hair and transferring them to the area where thinning or baldness occurs.The number of hair follicles to be transplanted and the surface of the recipient area to be transplanted vary according to the case. Again, depending on the number of hair follicles to be transplanted and the surface of the recipient area, the hair transplant operation takes 4-8 hours. Most of the patients can return to their normal life and work within 2-5 days. The day after the operation, the patients go to their final check-up controls, during which detailed information about the post-operative care is given to the patients.

 

There are two main hair transplantation methods used in Turkey; 

FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). These two methods are separated from each other by collecting hair follicles, and which method is suitable is decided by considering the advantages and disadvantages.

In the FUE method, bleeding and permanent scars do not occur as in the other method. During or after hair transplantation, problems such as bleeding and pain are minimized. Generally, hair transplant specialists also recommend the FUE method instead of the FUT method in hair transplantation.
